Interdisciplinary Artist

A media installation and lunchtime tea gathering,  50 + Years of Living (1968 / 2018) juxtaposed some of the most important recorded images, speeches and music of of these two periods. The installation created a medley of hinge points, cross-cutting these twin tsunami periods of activism. The gathering provided stimulus for the surrounding workshop(s) on revolutions, the role of art in activism, and the reasons behind and for a socially engaged practice. Discussions on the role of arts in society were shared with daily tea.  Part of the "How Art Makes Things Happen" International Conference held at ECUAD.
